Social Media Make your presence known on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in etc. You can meet people by joining groups related to your industry. Interact and build relationships with people that may be interested in your product or service. Bring value by posting helpful tips and offering free bonuses. Social media is a great way to get free publicity and build your customer base.
Article Marketing Write articles offering tips in your field of expertise. If you are stuck on ideas, ask yourself what the ten most frequently asked questions in your business are. Answer each question in an article and you have ten articles. Post them on free sites like Amazines.com, GoArticles.com and Ezinearticles.com. Send your readers to your website or landing page for further information. Post your articles to your social media sites.
Videos Another great way how to market your business on a tight budget is to create videos and post them on YouTube and other video sites. A great time saving tip is to create videos using the same topics as your articles. Post your videos to your social medial sites.
Affiliate Programs There are an endless number of businesses that offer affiliate programs. Basically they pay you to promote their product on your website, via e-mail, etc. These businesses will pay you for clicks, leads or sales. Research programs that relate to your industry and offer generous commissions. Find a hot product, post to your sites and use these commissions to fund your paid advertising!
Blogging Create a blog and direct people from your social media sites to it. Here they’ll get to know more about you and learn more about what you offer. This is where you can also place your articles, videos, specials, affiliate links, etc. and enter daily blog posts.
E-mail Use an autorepsonder e-mail service to capture your customers contact information. I recommend Aweber and it only costs about $20/mo. but is well worth it. Send broadcast e-mails to your list, such as helpful tips, your blog posts, articles, videos, special offers and promotions, etc.
Although more time consuming than paid advertising, this system can move your business to the next level. Any of these advertising methods on their own are great but combined are a powerful. This is how to market your business on a tight budget without breaking the bank.
